Filters
The 4.x player filters the catalog live (chips on desktop, a sheet on mobile). Label beats so the filters have something to match.

You can also lock a filter on the shortcode (kind, genre, mood, playlist) so that instance starts already scoped. Same query args exist on GET /beats.
Removed in 4.x: Player Nav Categories (category tabs with list vs grid). The 2.3.10-era screenshot of the old Widget 3 filter bar does not match the 4.x player.
Not a player filter: EDD/Woo product categories. Use those for your shop pages; use kind + playlists for the player. Merch and other items you hide from the player never appear in player filters — see Merchandise & physical products.
