Upgrading from Licenses & Contracts

The old EDD plugin (beatstore-license-contracts-edd) and the Woo sibling are replaced by one zip: beatstore-contracts.

You do not need a new Freemius purchase if you already paid for:

Switch

1. Download beatstore-contracts and upload it.
2. Activate. Paste the existing key from the customer portal if Freemius asks again (new plugin file).
3. Deactivate the old Licenses & Contracts plugin so two writers do not hit the same purchase.
4. Confirm templates under BeatStore → Contracts (or Contracts without the player).

On activate (and again from Re-run migration):

• Old license rows copy into {prefix}beatstore_contract_templates
• Offer maps copy from leftover post meta (edd_beatstore_license, Woo variation meta, name-match on pa_license)
• Producer name / address options copy into beatstore_contracts_settings

Leftover tables are not dropped. Existing PDFs in agreement-pdfs/ stay. New files go under uploads/beatstore-contracts/private/.

After 4.x player

Install BeatStore 4.x if you are already using version 3.x of BeatStore Player -- the 4.x player is required for BeatStore Contracts.

What changed

BeatStore Contracts - if you are using WooCommerce, adding new products is much easier now. Click "Add All Licenses" to add all of your pricing levels to a new product quickly, automatically creating all the variations you need and setting your prices.
