Important update
Hosted sites are winding down
We are retiring the Multisite network of *.beatstore.co producer stores on October 5, 2026. BeatStore continues as WordPress plugins and themes you install on hosting you control.
Step 01
Export before October 5
Pull catalog records, order CSVs, and media while your dashboard still works. Tools → Export alone is not a full backup. See the checklist below.
Step 02
Launch on your WordPress
Install Easy Digital Downloads and the BeatStore Player Plugin. Add the UI Theme and Licenses add-on if you need them.
Step 03
Point your domain
Update DNS to your new host and cancel hosted BeatStore membership billing when ready.
Export checklist
What to take with you
A standard WordPress export covers product records, not a full store backup. Do these while your hosted dashboard still works, and ping us if media is stuck on our storage.
01 · Product catalog (WXR)
In wp-admin: Tools → Export → Downloads (and Playlists if you use them). This saves beat posts, prices, and metadata, not necessarily the audio files themselves.
02 · Orders & customers (CSV)
In Easy Digital Downloads, use Tools / Reports → Export to download Orders and Customers. Keep these for your records even if you don’t re-import history.
03 · License PDFs
If you used Licenses & Contracts, download agreement PDFs from past orders (or ask us to include the agreement-pdfs folder in a media package).
04 · Audio, zips & artwork
Small catalog and files still download from the Media Library or product editor? Save them locally. Large catalog, remote/S3 URLs, or broken downloads? Email support and we’ll build a media package from our storage for your site.
05 · Branding notes
Screenshot BeatStore settings and your homepage. Hosted themes (SoundStar, BeatShop, etc.) are not moving over. Plan on the BeatStore UI Theme for a fresh storefront.
Need a media package?
Many hosted stores keep audio on our S3 storage, so Tools → Export will not download the files. Contact support with your site URL (e.g. yoursite.beatstore.co) and we'll pull a zip of your uploads.

Own your store
WordPress + BeatStore plugins
Fresh WordPress host → Easy Digital Downloads → BeatStore Player Plugin. Re-upload media, reconnect your payment gateway, point your domain. You keep customer data and every sale after gateway fees.
Prefer a marketplace?
BrowseBeats
If you'd rather list for discovery than run your own storefront, you can upload to BrowseBeats. It's a separate marketplace from the same team. Still export your hosted data first if you need order or license archives.
