Accept contract terms before payment
Checkout collects a required agree checkbox and a legal address for the PDF. Buyers can preview the mapped template from the cart.
Private files, token downloads
New Contract PDFs are stored privately. Email and receipts get a token-based download link to the PDF.
Map templates to offers you already have
Create templates under BeatStore → Contracts. Point each EDD variable price or WooCommerce variation (pa_license) at a template.
Works on EDD or Woo
One zip. With the player active it listens on beatstore_order_line_fulfilled. Without the player, leftover Licenses & Contracts keys still fulfill on native EDD or Woo hooks.
Starter templates
Exclusive and non-exclusive HTML starters ship with the plugin. Edit distribution copies, streams, performances, videos, radio, and publishing percentage as fields on the template.

Do I need this to sell licenses?
No. License names, prices, and exclusive flags live in Easy Digital Downloads or WooCommerce and show in the player picker. BeatStore Contracts only fills and emails the legal PDF.
Does it work with Easy Digital Downloads and WooCommerce?
Yes. One plugin. It follows whichever catalog the player is using.
Do I need the BeatStore Player Plugin?
No. The player is optional. New purchases of this add-on are marketed & sold as an official, paid Add-On for the BeatStore Player. If you already bought Licenses & Contracts for EDD or WooCommerce, that key still unlocks this zip without the player.
Is there a free plan?
No. Freemius offers a 14-day trial (payment method required), same as the player. Cancel before the trial ends if it is not the right fit.
Can I customize the contract language?
Yes. Edit the HTML template and the usage fields (copies, streams, performances, videos, radio, publishing percentage). Placeholders such as {CUSTOMER_FULLNAME} and {TRACK_PRICE} fill at purchase.
Where do the PDFs live?
New files are private under uploads/beatstore-contracts/private/ and download through a token URL. Old agreement-pdfs/ files from the 3.x plugins are not moved.
